Autodesk - AutoCAD Freestyle Technology Preview

Category: General

AutoDesk has released a free preview of their Freestyle technology (previously called Cooper).  It appears to be a companion to their Dragonfly project.  Looks promising for quick presentations, and/or sketches for clients.  Give it a spin.

Autodesk Project Dragonfly - Free Home Design Software

Category: General

This looks promising.  I can't believe I'm saying that about an AutoDesk product, but in just a few minutes of looking around I see a lot of promise.  I'm not sure if their trying to comptet w/ Google Sketchup, but if they are, they may give them a run for their money.  I havn't been able to determine if it will be free, but right now you can give it a test drive.  Enjoy.
